Face to Face Gaming
Another project for a someone on an online forum in 2011.
Here is a hint for any emerging graphic designers out there: if you don’t want to ever see your logos used anywhere… do a lot of free work for people on forums. They tend to simply vanish after a couple months.
I didn’t care though, still don’t really, I was obsessed with making logos and I took any decent design brief I could find, even if I had to fill in half the details and do it for free.
If I remember correctly, Face to Face was a group of some friends who were looking to create a Gaming Team or community group and were looking for something simple.
A round outlined mark which united two ‘F’s to create a ‘2’ in the negative space. I felt this logo, though simple, could be quite versatile. It would hold up against effects and complicated digital backgrounds, it could be easily emblazoned on jerseys if need be, and even embroidered. The elongated top of the ‘F’ along with the angled posture of the mark creates a sense of dynamic motion.
